Hi, I’m Kiah, a photographer based in Austin, Texas, who believes photography isn’t just about capturing moments, it’s about creating heirlooms.
I’ve been obsessed with cameras since childhood (starting with a Polaroid), and today I blend digital, Super 8 film, vintage camcorders, and Polaroids to create work that feels both nostalgic and timeless.
My Story
I believe photography is more than an image, it’s a way of preserving what matters most.
My work is rooted in nostalgia, presence, and deep emotional storytelling. I’m drawn to the quiet in-between moments, the way light falls on a shoulder, the laughter that spills out when no one is trying too hard. These are the moments that become heirlooms.
Travel, curiosity, and lived experience have shaped how I see the world and the people in it. I approach every session with empathy, intuition, and care, creating a space where you can feel comfortable being fully yourself. Whether I’m photographing a wedding day or an intimate portrait session, my goal is always the same, to create art that feels honest, meaningful, and timeless.
Today, Miss Kiah Photo offers fine art wedding and portrait photography, along with vintage-inspired multimedia experiences that honor memory and legacy. From nostalgic digital edits 35mm film, Polaroids, and super 8, each session is designed to tell your story in a way that feels personal and enduring.
